About All Type Fence

The original owners of All Type Fence were Bob Gaines and Jim Haig. They started the company after completing their military service during World War II. It was 1953 and they began a 40-year run of providing quality fence products and service in the Main Line area of Southeastern Pennsylvania. In the mid 1990’s, John Richardson, an established fence industry professional, purchased All Type Fence and kept Bob and Jim on as salesmen. John ran All Type Fence until 1998 when Chris Murray purchased the company. Bob Gaines continued in a sales and advisory role until 2001, when he retired from a long, successful career in the fence business. Chris continues to run the company today.

Our mission

Our mission is to provide high quality materials and installation services of fence products throughout Southeastern Pennsylvania. We pride ourselves on creating a good, safe working environment where employees are well compensated in return for their diligence, attention to detail, and loyalty. We have grown over the years at a measured pace in order to maintain our standards of quality with the addition of each employee. We take pride in the fact that we have several employees that have been with us for more than a decade.

As our company and industry continue to evolve, we continue to educate ourselves on the latest materials and construction methods in order to provide the best possible service. Our ability to provide fence solutions and execute a construction plan while communicating at the highest level sets us apart from our competition.
